Denver-based MapQuest has upgraded its Android application, saying Thursday that it has upgraded its app for Android phones, adding a number of new upgrades. Among the new upgrades, the firm said it has improved the mobile navigation displays of the software, using larger type in directions; simplified controls on the display; added estimated-time-of-arrival (ETA) information, and more. Mapquest's app is available for free on both the Android Market and Amazon's new Appstore for Android.
