Tendril Wins Australian Utility
Boulder-based Tendril,/b>, the developer of energy management software and systems, has scored a win in Australia, the firm said today. Tendril said that Origin Energy, an Australian integrated energy company, is deploying its Tendril Energize Application Suite, to manage energy efficiency programs. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Origin Energy is Australia's largest energy retail, and serves 4.6 million consumer accounts. Tendril is backed by VantagePoint Venture Partners, Good Energies, RRE Ventures and GE, and is headed by Adrian Tuck.
