Inspirato Takes $11M For Vacation Club
Denver-based Inspirato said this morning that it has raised $11M in a funding, for what it calls "the next generation destination club." The firm, founded by Brent Handler, co-founder of destination club Exclusive Resorts, said it will use the funding to expand its technology platform, for partnerships, and brand awareness. Inspirato targets luxury travelers, who join the club to gain access to below-market nightly rates at luxury locations. The firm said it has more than 40 luxury residences at beach, mountain, and European vacation destinations. Source of the new funding was not disclosed.
