Mocavo Takes On Genealogy Search
Boulder-based
Mocavo
said today that it has launched a new search engine focused on genealogy search. The firm said it searches free genealogy sites to find names, dates, and places. The firm's web site pulls results from online forums and discussion groups about genealogy, family trees, various public records sites, as well as individual genealogy sites. The new site was founded by Cliff Shaw, who the firm says founded GenForum (now owned by Ancestry.com) and GenCircles and Family Tree Legends (now owned by MyHeritage.com).
