Control4 Gets Investment From Cisco
Salt Lake City-based Control4, the developer of home automation products, said today that it has signed a deal with Cisco to deliver its products to Cisco, including a Cisco branded Control4 product line, and has scored an investment from Cisco as part of the deal. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed, however, a recent regulatory filing indicates Control4 just raised $15.0M in a new funding round. Control4 said that Cisco will integrate its technology into Cisco's Service Delivery Platform (SDP), the networking giant's home energy management product line. Control4 is headed by Will West.
