Boise, Idaho-based
M2M Communications, a developer of wireless energy management products, has been acquired by
EnerNOC, an energy management firm based in Boston. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. M2M was founded in Boise in 2003, and was founded by Steve Hodges. M2M's products are used for controlling demand response capacity by electrical utilities, including Pacific Gas and Electric, Idaho Power, PacifiCorp, Midwest Energy, and National Grid.
