Advanced Thin Films Acquired For $32M
Boulder-based Advanced Thin Films, a provider of optical components and coatings, has been acquired in a deal worth $32M, according to acquiring firm IDEX Corporation. IDEX said it will pay $32M in cash for Advanced Thin Films (ATFilms), and make it a part of its Health and Science Technologies segment. IDEx said that Advanced Thin Films had approximately $9M in revenues. ATFilms develops optical components and coatings for applications in the fields of scientific research, defense, aerospace, telecommunications and electronics manufacturing areas.
