Denver-based Rivet Software, the provider of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) software for publicly traded companies, said today that it had "explosive growth" in 2010. The firm, which did not disclose any actual financial details, said it is now supporting over 25 percent of the Fortune 500 with its products. Rivet's software is used by those companies to file financial and other information with the SEcurities and Exchange Commission. Rivet said it more than quadrupled its workforce in 2010, due to that growth.
