GlobalTranz Raises $10M
Phoenix-based GlobalTranz, a provider of logistics management services, said this week that it has raised a $10M, institutional round of financing. The round came from Volition Capital, and is the firm's first round with institutional investors. The firm said the funding will go towards working capital and growth investments. As part of the funding, Larry Cheng of Volition Capital is joining the firm's board, with Sean Cantwell of Volition serving as an observer. GolbalTranz provides supply chain logistics and warehousing for the trucking industry.
