Wireless Seismic Snags $19.5M
Louisville, Colorado-based Wireless Seismic, a firm which develops wireless, seismic data acquisition systems used by the oil and gas industry, announced Tuesday that it has raised $19.5M. The funding came from Chesapeake Energy and Energy Ventures. Wireless Seismic said that Jim Sledzik of Energy Ventures joins the company's board, and Gary E. Jones has become Chairman as part of the funding. Wireless Seismic said the funding will go towards scaling its manufacturing operations.
