Online sales on Black Friday were up, according to numbers released over the weekend by Internet monitoring and analysis firm comScore. According to comScore, e-commerce sales on Black Friday totaled $658M, up 9 percent from last year, with Thanksgiving sales up 28 percent to $407M. Black Friday so far has been the heaviest spending day to date this year online, although today is Cyber Monday, which traditionally has racked in ever bigger online sales as people head back to high speed work connections.
