Ancestry.com, the online site which allows users to search for family history information, said this morning that it has expanded its collection to include more than 60 million yearbook records. The firm said its new U.S. School Yearbook collection features 10,000 yearbooks from high schools, junior highs, academies, colleges, and universities, from nearly every state in the United States. The firm said the yearbooks cover from 1875 to 1988. A major part of the yearbook collection are photos from those yearbooks. Ancestry.com said it would make the yearbook collection available to existing members, and also through a 14-day free trial.
