Spectra Logic Bumps Disk Appliance Capacity
Boulder, Colorado-based Spectra Logic, a developer of data storage and backup products, said yesterday that it has doubled the capacity and memory in its Spectra nTier 700 disk appliance. The appliance, used for backup and archiving, now supports up to 120TB of storage. The firm said the capacity boost comes due to the addition of 2TB drives in the unit.
