Spectra Logic OEMs Symantec
Boulder-based Spectra Logic, a manufacturer of tape libraries and disk-based backup products, said Tuesday that the firm has inked an OEM agreement with Symantec. Spectra Logic said that the firm will offer Symantec's data protectio nsoftware as part of both its tape and disk-based backup and archiving products. Details of the OEM relationship were not disclosed, however, Spectra Logic said customers can now order Symantec's NetBackup and Backup Exec software with its T950, T680, T380, T200, T120, T50e, nTier700 and nTier500 products.
