Wind Turbine Manufacturer Selects Castle Rock
Denmark-based Aluwind, a manufacturer of aluminum wind-turbine components, has selected Castle Rock, Colorado, for its first U.S. Location, the city said this week. Castle Rock, which is located south of Denver, said that Aluwind is looking to expand to an eventual total of 80,000 square feet of industrial space in the city, with 30 employees in the location by July. The city also said the firm plans to increase to 50-75 workers in the next 18 months. Aluwind apparently chose the city for its proximity to its key partners in the wind industry.
