Boulder, Colorado-based Webroot, a developer of Internet security software, said yesterday that it has named Ramon Peypoch as Vices President of Corporate Development. Peypoch was most recently at Proofpoint, where he was EVP of Business Development. He also served at Websense, Inktomi, Symantec, Sygate Technologies, AT&T Solutions, and GE Capital. Webroot said Peypoch will be responsible for technology partnerships and acquisitions.
