Webroot Names CTO
Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot, which develops Internet security software, said today that it has named Mel Morris as its Chief Technology Officer. Morris has been at Webroot since October of 2010, when Webroot acquired Prevx. Morris founded Prevx in 2005. Prevx also was founder of uDate, and served at Platinum Technology and Prometrics. He is also chairman of casual gaming site King.com.
