Filtrbox Acquired by Jive Software
Boulder, Colorado-based Filtrbox, a developer of social media and news monitoring tools for brands, has been acquired by Jive Software, a developer of social networking software for businesses. Jive did not disclose financial terms of the acquisition. Jive said it would integrate Filtrbox's technology into its Jive Market Engagement product, which is used for social media monitoring. Filtrbox had raised around $1.4M in funding from Flywheel Ventures and True Ventures. Jive is also venture backed, by Sequoia Capital.
