Stephen Covey Signs Exclusive Deal With Amazon.com On Books
Utah author Stephen Covey, in what may be the most significant deal yet in the electronic publishing industry, has inked an exclusive deal with Amazon.com, for versions of his popular titles "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and "Principle-Centered Leadership." The deals, announced late Monday by Amazon and FranklinCovey, make those two titles available exclusively in Amazon's Kindle Store for $7.99. The deal is the first time those titles will be available as e-books, and cuts out non-Kindle book readers, and Covey's own print publisher, Simon & Schuster, from the deal.
