Next Big Sound Gets Funding

Boulder-based Next Big Sound, a firm which provides web analytics to musicians and bands, has raised a round of seed funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Thursday. The filing indicates the firm raised around $100,000 in the round, although other sources are reporting a round size closer to $1M. Funding came from the Foundry Group, SoftTech VC, Alsop Louie, and others. Next Big Sound is a TechStars firm.
