Next Big Sound Raises $6.5M
Boulder-based Next Big Sound, which provides monitoring of online sales by bands and musicians, along with other analytics, has raised $6.5M in a new funding. The company, which is led by Alex White, said the funding was led by IA Ventures and Foundry Group. Next Big Sound is backed by Foundry Group, IA Ventures, SoftTech VC, Alsop Louie Partners, along with such angels as David Cohen, Troy Henikoff, Peter Zandan and David Cancel. The firm is one of the companies in the Boulder TechStars program.
