Secure64 Gets Security Cert
Denver-based Secure64 is hailing a security certification the firm has received from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) today. According to Secure64, its Secure64 DNS Signer product has received the FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certification from the NIST and the Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSEC), and is the first commercial DNSSEC software appliance certified at that level. The certification is one of the requirements for federal agencies using encryptio products. Secure64's DNS appliances are used to ensure the security of domain name records used for routing Internet traffic.
