Denver-based
Ping Identity, a developer of single sign-on software for the web and enterprise market, reported today that the firm has helped to complete a project to link more than 1,200 law enforcement officers into a system for tracking terrorist activity, illegal drug trafficking, organized criminal activity, and other crime. Ping said it is powering the Trusted Credentials Project (TCP) of the Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS), an federal program. Ping said the new sign-on support allows law enforcement agencies to log into the system using their existing log in information, and was achieved using its products. No details on the size of the business have been released.
