DigitalGlobe Satellite At Vandenberg AFB

reported Thursday that DigitalGlobe's WorldView-2 satellite has arrived at its launch site, Vandenberg Air Force Base. The satellite is scheduled for launch in october. DigitalGlobe's new satellite is expected to provide satellite imagery for the defense, intelligence, government, and commercial clients. Ball Aerospace said the satellite will now be integrated with the launch vehicle--a United Launch Alliance Delta 2 rocket--and undergo further testing ahead of the launch.
