TheraDoc, which develops clinical informatics software for hospital management, reported today that it has added six new packages focused on clinical and adverse drug event alerts. The new software components, which work with its TheraDoc Expert System Platform, add monitoring of patient lab and admission data, track pharmacy and lab data about medication usage, look for adverse drug events and medication safety triggers, and add toxicology and monitoring of lab data for potentially harmful substances, among other new features. TheraDoc's software is used by hospitals to better manage their healthcare operations. Pricing on the new components was not disclosed.
