Salt Lake City-based Solera Networks reported Friday that the firm has scored a $1.8M contract from the Federal government. According to Solera, the firm's network forensics appliances will be used as part of an un-named, major U.S. federal agency as part of their cyber security arsenal. Solera said it was selected because it was the "only vendor" which could meet the requirements of a large, distributed government network. Solera's products provides high speed capture of network packets.
