Qwest Declines To Sell Long Distance Assets
Denver-based Qwest Communications reported today that the firm has decided it will not sell its long distance network assets, after received an unsolicited request for purchase of the assets. According to Qwest, it determined that the assets are worth "far more value" to the firm and is "strategically important" to the company. Details on the buyer or the offer were not disclosed by the Qwest.
