NetDevil Acquired By MMO Game Development Firm
Louisville, Colorado-based NetDevil, a game development studio founded in 1997, has become part of Gazillion Entertainment, a Silicon Valley-based firm focused on massively multiplayer online games. Silicon Valley-based Gazillion Entertainment said Tuesday that it had assembled a number of game studios--including NetDevil--to create massively multiplayer online games for comic book publisher Marvel Entertainmen. NetDevil is developing LEGO Universe and Jumpgate Evolution, two massively multiplayer online games. According to NetDevil, it was acquired in July of 2008 by Gazillion, and employs over 75 full time game developers.
