Buena Vista Games, the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company, said this morning that it has opened up a new video game development studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new studio, Fall Line Studio, will focus on developing games for Nintendo's DS and Wii game systems. Buena Vista Games said that the new studio will operate as a sister studio to the firm's existing Salt Lake game development studio, Avalanche Software. The new unit will be headed by Scott Novis.
