Kount Sues Iovation
Boise, Idaho-based Kount, a developer of fraud detection software, is suing a competing firm over patent infringement claims. According to Kount, it is suing Portland, Oregon-based iovation, over infringement on a patent covering its technology. Kount said that it is seeking injunctive relief and damages from iovation, over infringement of its U.S. Patent, number 7,330,871. Iovation is a competing provider of software for detecting fraud in online transactions.
