Scottsdale, Arizona-based
iGo, which develops universal chargers for portable computers and mobile phones, said Friday that the firm is reducing its headcount by approximately 20 percent, and has swapped out its CFO. The firm said it made the cuts "in light of the recession" and its impact on the firm's sales. According to iGo, it has appointed Darryl S. Baker, formerly Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer, as CFo of the firm; the firm's current CFO, Joan Brubacher, has "departed the company." iGo said it expects to save $350,000 per quarter through the workforce reductions.
