Denver-based Secure64, a provider of secure DNS software, announced today that the firm has entered into an alliance with a European provider of DNSSEC deployment services. Secure64 said it has signed on Swedish consulting firm Kirei, which help companies deploy DNSSEC, a secure version of the Internet DNS system. According to Secure4, Kirei will recommend, deploy, and configure its products. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Secure64's software is designed to help in the deployment of a more secure version of the Internet DNS system, which is vulnerable to domain name hijacking and other security issues.
