Control4 Targets Hospitality Market
Salt Lake City-based Control4, a developer of IP home control systems, said Monday that the firm has launched a new set of products specifically targeted at the hospitality market. The firm said it has launched a system specifically targeted at use in hotels and resorts, its Control4 Suite Systems SC-2000. The new system and associated hardware are aimed at installation into hotel rooms, and use ZigBee to allow hotel visitors to control lights, televisions, music, temperature, and other aspects of hotel rooms. The company said that it has also signed a deal with New York-based Business Technology Partners, which will design, develop, and deploy systems using Control4's technology.
