DigitalGlobe Ties With NAVTEQ
Longmont, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe said earlier this week that it has inked an agreement with NAVTEQ, to provide its high resolution satellite and aerial imagery to NAVTEQ'a developers. According to DigitalGlobe, it becomes a member of NAVTEQ's Partner Zone program, and will provide free sample imagery to developers using NAVTEQ's tools. NAVTEQ is a provider of mapping data and related tools. Financial details of the arrangement between the firms was not discussed.
