Me.dium Links To Microsoft Internet Explorer
Boulder, Colorado-based Me.dium, which develops a social web search service, said today that the firm's Social Search service has been integrated into Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2. Microsoft is launching the beta version of its next Internet Explorer today. According to Me.dium, the firm's search service will be featured alongside EBay, Facebook, and Yahoo in IE8's search box. Me.dium also offers a number of additional tools and add-ons that work with Internet Explorer, including a "WebSlice" component which shows the "hottest" websites based on surfing behavior of Me.dium's users, content recommendations based on keyword highlights, and its Social toolbar for following where friends surf.
