Filtrbox Ties Into Alltop
Boulder, Colorado-based Filtrbox, a provider of news and blog monitoring software, said last week that it has inked a deal with Alltop, an RSS- and blog-aggregation provider run by technology guru Guy Kawasaki. According to Filtrbox, it is powering a new site, VIPs.alltop.com, which collects information about what the company describes as "the world's most interesting people." Filtrbox is being used to create summary links to a variety of blogs and other sources on notable people. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Alltop provides a one-page summary of notable news and blog stories on its sites. Filtrbox is venture backed by Flywheel Ventures, True Ventures, Techstars, and angel investors.
