LeftHand Networks, a publisher of IP-based storage-area-network software, reported Tuesday that it has appointed Harry Blount to its board of directors. LeftHand said Blount served as senior vice president at Lehman Brothers' Equity Research Department from 2000-07. Prior to that, he was an equity research analyst for several firms, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and CIBC Oppenheimer. He currently serves on the National Academy of Science Committee on Forecasting Future Disruptive Technology. Founded in 2001, LeftHand Networks is headquartered in Boulder, Colo.
