A pair of Denver companies have teamed to launch an online, video-based sports community that aims to bridge the gap between professional and amateur sports. IM&I and SportsHD Productions officially announced the launch of SportZu.tv Tuesday. In a bid to establish itself as the "ultimate collection of amateur and professional sports videos online," the site features tips, drills, game highlights and member-uploaded videos from youth sporting events. SportZu.tv said it will gain a competitive advantage through heightened user interaction and original, high-definition video production. Currently, the site boasts video and marketing partnerships with several Colorado-oriented organizations, including Altitude Sports and Entertainment, the Colorado Crush and the Colorado Rapids. SportZu.tv said it plans to launch nationally and internationally this summer.
