High school sports-oriented Web site Jookt.com reported Tuesday that it has officially launched. The Denver-based site, which combines social networking and high school athletics, offers students, athletes, parents, fans and those who cover prep sports the ability to upload or observe related video content. Jookt said its services are free and that its content will be provided by its users, much like how YouTube operates. In addition to user clips and videos, Jookt.com will also feature original programming in a show called "The Stream," which depicts behind-the-scenes moments in high school sports.
