Phoenix, Arizona-based Radyne, a manufacturer of communications and satellite equipment, said Monday that it has agreed to be acquired by Comtech Telecommunications Corp., in a deal worth approximately $195.0M. According to Radyne, the definitive merger agreement will provide $11.50 in cash per share for Radyne, for a total of $223.6M. Radyne currently had around $28.7M in cash and cash equivalents as of March 31st. Radyne builds satellite modems, microsatellite systems; HDTV and other encoding and transmission equipment, and other related products.
