Displaytech Gets Design Win
Longmont, Colorado-based Displaytech, a supplier of ferroelectric liquid crystal on silicon (FLCOS) microdisplays, said Wednesday that it has scored a design win with SunView, a developer of portable consumer projectors. Financial details of the win were not disclosed, however the firm said that its product is being used to power a small, battery-operated pico projector. The firm claimed the win is the first consumer product to incorporate a pico-projector.
