Orem, Utah-based business optimization software publisher Omniture Inc. has designated SAVVIS Inc. as the provider of its data center hosting and network services, SAVVIS revealed Tuesday. The financial impact of the deal was not reported. Headquartered in St. Louis, SAVVIS offers information technology infrastructure services for business applications. The company said it will furnish Omniture with hosting and network services from its newly opened data center in Irving, Texas, as part of a three-year agreement. SAVVIS added that Omniture required a robust setup because it serves billions of transactions daily to more than 4,400 customers in 75 countries.
