Axial Biotech Installs Olson as Sales, Marketing EVP
Axial Biotech Inc., a medical research firm focusing on spinal care and treatment, reported Thursday that it has hired Eric K. Olson as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining the company, Olson was vice president of sales and marketing for Facet Solutions Inc. He has also directed the sales and marketing efforts for a range of businesses within the industry, including pre-IPO startups and Fortune 500 companies, Axial noted. Founded in 2002, Axial Biotech is a privately held, venture-backed company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Axial said it intends to launch its first product, a DNA-based, pre-symptomatic and prognostic test to determine the risk for developing severe scoliosis, later this year.
