Lumidigm Gets $7M in Series C Funds
Lumidigm Inc., a manufacturer of biometric devices, announced Tuesday that it has concluded its third round of venture financing after raising $7 million. Lumidigm credited existing investor Epic Ventures (formerly Wasatch Venture Fund) with leading the effort. Also participating were first-time investor Sun Mountain Capital and previous investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Intel Capital, International Venture Fund, Motorola Ventures, New Mexico Co-Investment Partners and Solstice Capital. Lumidigm said it will use the funds to roll out its line of multispectral-imaging fingerprint systems. Lumidigm is headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M.
