Crucial Adds Mac OS X Tool
Boise, Idaho-based Lexar Media, the subsidiary of Micron Technology which manufactures and markets flash and DRAM memory, said today that it has rolled out a new software tool for MAC OS X. The new tool scans and suggests memory upgrade options for Mac OS X desktops and notebooks on the firm's Crucial.com memory website. According to Lexar, the Crucial System Scanner tool is the first, online tool from a memory manufacturer for helping Mac users. Lexar Media operates Crucial.com, an online web site which offers memory upgrades to both PC and Mac platforms.
