Namescape Ships Active Directory Tool
Phoenix, Arizona-based Namescape, a provider of identity management software, said earlier this week that it has released an upgraded version of its tool for managing Microsoft's Active Directory. The firm said that its tool, rDirectory Version 2.0, adds application templates and new features such as themeable user interfaces. Namescape's tool is used to manage Windows Active Directory databases, which are used for user authentication management, storing usernames and passwords, and group management by IT administrators.
