Photobucket Teams With Nature Conservancy
Denver-based Photobucket said today that it has partnered with The Nature Conservancy for Forestry Conservation, on an effort to have users create "green" slideshows. According to Photobucket, it will donate 10 cents to The Nature Conservancy for every holiday greetings slideshow created on its site. The company, which provides free online storage of images to consumers, is encouraging consumers to send the slideshows instead of a holiday letter or greeting card. Photobucket is owned by Fox Interactive Media, which acquired the firm in July.
