Test Advantage Inc., a provider of semiconductor-testing hardware and software, revealed Wednesday that it has hired Doug Elder as the senior vice president of its Hardware Division, the Tempe, Ariz.-based company's value-added reselling arm for Teradyne products. Elder, Test Advantage noted, was ideal for the position because he joins the company after 22 years at Teradyne. Starting there in 1985 as a sales engineer, Elder worked his way up to senior management positions before ultimately spending the last four years as vice president and general manager of Teradyne's Semiconductor Test Business.
