Simtek Boosts Sales Channel
Simtek Corp., a manufacturer of semiconductor memory products, revealed Tuesday that it has signed a channel sales agreement with Allyanz, an electronic components distributor for the Australia and New Zealand markets. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Allyanz specializes in supplying semiconductor and display products to manufacturers in the automotive, medical, communications, industrial and defense industries. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., Simtek Corp. designs and develops nonvolatile static random-access memory, or nvSRAM, integrated circuits, which do not lose their data when powered off.
