Simtek Taps Japanese Distributor
Memory manufacturer Simtek Corp. reported Monday that it has selected Hakuto Co. Ltd. to distribute Simtek's full line of products in Japan. Simtek said Hakuto imports and distributes cutting-edge technology components for more than 200 manufacturers. Simtek said Hakuto, which is headquartered in Japan, consists of a domestic network of OEM resellers as well as overseas branches elsewhere in Asia. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., Simtek Corp. produces nonvolatile static random access memory integrated circuits, which are used in various devices ranging from RAID servers networking equipment to industrial automation and GPS navigation systems.
